Peyton Bennett was 10-of-15 for 258 yards and four touchdown passes — two to Zack Black, and one each to Bruzza Pusha and Louie Smith — and JR Patterson ran for 118 yards and a touchdown and passed to Pusha for another score for the Rebels. Pusha racked up 171 receiving yards and three TDs.
Josh Masters and Preston Humbert connected for the final score in the fourth quarter.
Hilton Head Prep took a 7-6 lead in the first quarter on Tristan Bonomo’s 21-yard touchdown pass to Carson King, but the Dolphins had a tough time moving the ball the rest of the evening.
The Rebels (3-0) host Pee Dee Academy next Friday, while the Dolphins (1-2) host Orangeburg Prep in a region matchup.
