As Dorian slides up the coast toward our beloved Lowcountry, football most definitely takes a backseat. But during this agonizing period in which our lives pass by in three-hour increments between National Hurricane Center updates, I figure we could all use a little distraction.
So the RBC Heritage Player of the Week show will go on. We’ve narrowed the list of outstanding Week 2 performances to 10 worthy candidates. You have until noon Thursday to cast your vote below, with the winner of the online fan vote earning the fifth vote in our panel, which is made up of myself, WSAV’s Greg Talbott, WJCL’s Frank Sulkowski, and The Island News’ Mike McCombs. In the event of a tie, the winner of the fan vote will serve as the tiebreaker.

Cast your vote by noon Thursday and spread the word!
