Hilton Head Christian Academy won a five-set thriller Monday, topping perennial power Calvary Day School on Monday night.
The Eagles cruised to a 25-21 win in the first set and took the third set 25-19, but they lost both the second and fourth sets 25-20. HHCA was able to rebound and claim the final set 15-12.

Ady O’Grady led the Eagles with 23 kills and 21 digs, followed by Lauryn Qualls with 15 kills and 14 digs. Brielle McCarthy tallied 46 assists out of 54 kills on the night. Amelia Auld helped anchor the defense with 12 digs, while Abby Peduzzi added 10 digs.
HHCA (6-1) travels to Beaufort Academy next Tuesday.
