HS Soccer: HHCA Boys Earn Shot At Three-Peat

Hilton Head Christian Academy’s boys will play for a third consecutive SCISA 2A championship after a convincing 4-0 win over visiting Spartanburg Day in the semifinals Wednesday.

Carson Webster started the scoring in the 16th minute, squirting a free kick past the keeper, and he added a second goal on a long strike three minutes later. JP Peduzzi and Cameron Strickland added goals for HHCA.

Lukas O’Grady made five saves to preserve the shutout behind a dominant back line of Logan Harsta, Rece Cloud, Ben Viljac, and Kent Camp.

The Eagles (12-4-1) await the winner of Thursday’s Hilton Head Prep at Oakbrook Prep matchup in the championship game at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Porter-Gaud in Charleston.
