Whale Branch will send 11 individuals and two relay teams to the Class 2A Track & Field State Championships after their performances at the state qualifier meet Saturday in Columbia.
Theresa Anderson led the way for the Warriors, placing second in the long jump and triple jump. JacQuez Frazier was Whale Branch’s only individual champion, winning the discus.
The state championships are Friday and Saturday in Columbia.

Boys: JacQuez Frazier (discus, 1st); Makhi Spicer (discus, 2nd); Richard Parker (110 hurdles, 6th); Christopher Sanders (triple jump, 8th)
