HS Soccer: Bobcat Boys Roar Into Lower State Semifinals

Bluffton’s boys turned in a dominant performance in the Class 4A playoff opener, controlling possession and wearing down visiting North Myrtle Beach in a 4-0 victory.

Davidson Alvarez scored two goals, and Uriel Zarracan and Ramiro Garcia each added a goal and an assist for the Bobcats, while Gabriel Guadagno and Isaac Florez each added an assist.

Alejo Hornos needed only two saves to preserve the shutout thanks to a stifling defensive effort.

The Bobcats (14-5-1) will host Hartsville at 6 p.m. Saturday in the Lower State semifinals.
