HS Soccer: HHCA Boys Blank JPII In Region Opener

Hilton Head Christian Academy’s boys opened region play with a convincing 3-0 win over John Paul II on Thursday.

Carson Webster scored the first two goals — the second off an assist from Josue Hurtado — to claim a 2-0 halftime lead, and Hurtado converted a penalty after Webster was fouled in the box to cap the scoring.

Kent Camp anchored the Eagles’ dominant back line, and Lukas O’Grady posted the shutout.

HHCA (7-4, 1-0) is off until hosting Beaufort Academy on April 23. JPII (7-8-1, 0-3) hosts Pinewood Prep on Friday.
