HS Baseball: JPII Holds On Vs. HHCA In Slugfest

John Paul II outslugged Hilton Head Christian Academy 13-11 for a region win Saturday.

Hayden Jennings had four hits and scored three runs and earned the win with 1 2/3 innings of relief, allowing three runs (one earned), for the Golden Warriors. Adrian Skipper added three hits and three runs, Ray Johnson had two hits, two RBIs, and two runs, Colin Doering had two hits and two RBIs, and Tyler Davis added two hits and scored twice. 

Max Lowrey was 2-for-4 with two runs and five RBIs, Dargan Cherry and Jackson Lanier each had three hits, and Jake Richardson and Daniel Harrington added two hits apiece for the Eagles. 

JPII (7-4, 3-2) travels to Thomas Heyward for a key region matchup at 6 p.m. Tuesday. HHCA (3-9, 0-6) hosts Memorial Day at 6 p.m. Monday.
