May River finished off the season sweep of crosstown rival Bluffton with a 10-2 road win Wednesday.
Every player in the Sharks’ lineup had at least one hit, with Cooper George going 3-for-5 with a run and Joseph Tapscott going 2-for-4 with a run and two RBIs to lead the charge. Elijah Peter was 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run, Jack Hegan was 2-for-3 with two runs, and John Pesaturo was 1-for-3 with three runs and two RBIs for May River.
Nick Bass struck out three and allowed one run and two hits over 3 2/3 innings to earn the win, and George whiffed four and gave up one unearned run and three hits in 3 1/3 innings for the save.
Noah Simonsen was 3-for-4 with a run to lead the Bobcats at the plate.
May River (7-3) hosts Battery Creek for a Region 8-3A game Friday. The Bobcats (5-4) travel to Beaufort High to open a three-game Region 7-4A series Monday.
