Thomas Heyward defeated Beaufort High for the third time this season, winning 12-7 on the road Wednesday.
Ivy Bryan led the Rebels at the plate, going 4-for-5 with two homers, three RBIs, and four runs. Danielle Dudley and Keleigh Bowers each added two hits, and Gracie Wade and Karleigh Edmondson drove in three runs each.
Dudley went the distance in the circle for the Rebels, allowing seven runs (four earned) and eight hits with five strikeouts and two walks.
Essence Champion was 3-for-4 with two doubles, a homer, two runs, and three RBIs, and Madison Sanchez was 2-for-3 with a homer, two runs, and three RBIs to lead the Eagles. Maliyah Hagan was tagged with the loss, allowing eight runs over four innings.
The Rebels (3-1) host Beaufort Academy on Thursday. The Eagles (1-4) host May River on Monday.
