Bryce Tillotson’s game-ending RBI double lifted Thomas Heyward to a 11-10 win over visiting St. Andrew’s on Wednesday, avenging last week’s shutout loss to the Lions.
St. Andrew’s scored five runs in the top of the seventh to tie the game, but Chipper Hammond led off the bottom of the inning with an infield single and scored the winning run on Tillotson’s fourth hit of the night.
Tillotson finished 4-for-5 with two doubles and four RBIs and also earned the win on the mound, recording two strikeouts to get the Rebels out of a jam in the top of the seventh.
Hammond was 2-for-3 with an RBI and scored three runs, and Roman Padgett was 1-for-3 with two RBIs.
The Rebels (3-3) play at Beaufort High on Thursday.
