Hilton Head High’s boys used a huge second quarter to cruise to a 71-47 home win over South Effingham on Saturday.
The game was tied after one quarter before the Seahawks outscored the Mustangs 27-12 in the second period to take control and snap a four-game losing streak.
Gaston Moore poured in 23 points, Adam Clark added 15, and Dean Seelbach scored 11 to lead the Seahawks.
HHIHS (2-4) travels to Whale Branch on Tuesday.
