HSBB: HHIHS Girls Avenge 30-Point Loss To South Effingham

One week removed from a 30-point loss at South Effingham, Hilton Head High’s girls flipped the script with a 51-42 home win in the rematch Saturday.

“Our team felt disrespected last Saturday, and we made our statement tonight,” Seahawks coach Sean Rochester said. “It had nothing to do with a brilliant game plan, our girls just committed to playing as hard as they possibly could as a team.”

Miley Ray led the Seahawks with a career-high 20 points, while Trinity Feltner scored nine points and Kenzie Ryan added eight.

HHIHS (3-3) travels to Whale Branch on Tuesday.
