Hilton Head Christian Academy ran its winning streak to four games with an impressive 42-28 home win over Orangeburg Prep on Friday.
Hayden Shinn was 24-of-30 for 428 yards and three touchdowns and added 87 yards on 13 carries, and Daniel Harrington had another huge night for the Eagles.
Harrington caught 13 passes for 228 yards and two touchdowns, rushed for 25 yards and two scores on eight carries, and threw a touchdown pass. JP Peduzzi caught seven passes for 97 yards and two touchdowns.
The Eagles trailed 14-0 early, but Shinn threw three touchdown passes to give HHCA a 21-14 lead. After Orangeburg Prep tied it, Harrington threw a 3-yard TD pass to Peduzzi for a 28-21 halftime lead, and he added two rushing scores in the second half to help the Eagles pull away.
HHCA (4-2, 2-0) travels to Colleton Prep for a non-region game next Friday before a region-title showdown with John Paul II on Oct. 19.
