Beaufort High’s volleyball team swept a non-region game at Wade Hampton on Tuesday, winning 3-0 (25-13, 25-14, 25-18).
McCayla Willingham led a balanced attack for the Eagles with nine kills, while Chase Vaigneur added eight, and Hannah Merchant and Madison Gallion had six apiece.
Setter Zyaire Middleton led the Eagles at the service line, and libero Peyton Polk anchored the defense and added strong serving.
The Eagles are on the road Thursday for a region showdown with defending region champion Hilton Head High.
