HS Tennis: Seahawks Sweep Bobcats To Cap Perfect Region Campaign

Hilton Head High’s girls tennis team completed an undefeated run through Region 7-4A with a 6-0 win over Bluffton on Tuesday.

The Seahawks (9-2, 6-0) have two matches against Hilton Head Prep – on the road Thursday and at home Monday – before beginning the Class 4A playoffs at home Oct. 16.

The Bobcats play John Paul on Wednesday at Berkeley Hall.

1. Emily Ruckno (HH) defeats Rachel Riley (B) 7-6(3), 6-4

2. Sydney Hall (HH) defeats Lydia John (B) 6-0, 6-0.

3. Madeleine Pollitzer (HH) defeats Anastaysia Antsyferova (B) 6-2, 6-2

4. Sierra Seabra (HH) defeats Rachael Richardson (B) 6-0, 6-0.

5. Danielle Silvan (HH) defeats Olivia Boshaw (B) 6-0, 6-0

Doubles

2. Pia Kayser and Arianna Morales (HH) defeats Yakelin Castro and Genesis Aviles 6-2, 6-0
