Hilton Head High’s volleyball team swept a home tri-match Tuesday, beating Savannah Country Day and Beaufort High.
The Seahawks beat Savannah Country Day 2-0 (25-13, 25-22) in a non-region match and defeated Region 7-4A opponent Beaufort 2-0 (25-20, 25-12).
Beaufort also lost to Savannah Country Day, falling 2-1 (11-25, 25-21, 15-12).
Hailey Lamar (10 kills) and McCayla Willingham (8 kills) led Beaufort’s attack. Chase Vaigneur added seven kills, Madison Gallion had six, and Hannah Merchant and Olive Renforth added five apiece, and setter Zyaire Middleton had a strong performance.
Both Beaufort and Hilton Head High continue region play Thursday, as the Eagles travel to Colleton County and the Seahawks host Bluffton.
