HSFB: HHCA Jumps On Bethesda Early For First Win

Hilton Head Christian Academy picked up its first win of the season with a 33-14 victory at Bethesda Academy on Friday.

Hayden Shinn was 17-of-25 for 243 yards and three touchdowns, Daniel Harrington caught four passes for 91 yards and two TDs and added a rushing score, and Brennen Studenc and Ben Viljac added touchdowns for the Eagles.

HHCA led 19-0 at halftime after Shinn and Harrington hooked up for a pair of touchdown passes, including a 77-yard strike, and Viljac scored on a 4-yard run.

Harrington’s 50-yard interception return set up his 2-yard touchdown plunge and Shinn hit Studenc for a 44-yard TD to give the Eagles a 33-0 lead before the Blazers scored a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns.

HHCA (1-2) hosts St. Andrew’s next Friday.
