HSXC: Seahawks’ Gilman Wins Title At Providence Invitational

Hilton Head High cross country star Sam Gilman started his senior season with another impressive victory Saturday, winning the Boys Championship division at the Providence Invitational at McAlpine Park in Charlotte.

Gilman ran a 5K time of 15:48 to edge Nick Nyman of Starrs Mill by four seconds and help the Seahawk boys to an eighth-place finish among 17 teams.
