The Hilton Head All-Stars won their first two games Saturday on the opening day of the Dixie Youth Baseball AA Machine Pitch State Tournament in Clemson.
Hilton Head hammered Batesburg-Leesville 14-0 in its opener, then defeated Bamberg 5-4 to remain in the winner’s bracket. Hilton Head will face Delmae at 4 p.m. Sunday.
Bluffton American dropped a heartbreaker in its opener, losing 3-1 in 11 innings to Gaffney American. Bluffton plays Gaffney National in an elimination game at noon Sunday.
