John Paul II’s track and field team competed in its first SCISA State Championships on Saturday at Porter-Gaud School in Charleston.
Zach Doe led the Golden Warriors’ contingent with two individual third-place finishes – in the 200 (23.66) and high jump (5-8) – as well as helping JPII to a fourth-place showing in the 4×400 relay (3:58.88).
Elijah Moreno also scored for the boys, placing sixth in the high jump (5-6), and Tkai DeVore finished third in the girls 100 (13.62).
