Miguel Gallegos scored a hat trick as Bluffton’s boys advanced to the Class 3A Lower State final with a 3-2 win over Wade Hampton on Saturday.
Gallegos scored twice in the first half to give the Bobcats a 2-1 halftime lead and added his third 11 minutes into the second half.
The Red Devils converted a penalty kick in the 78th minute to pull within one goal, but the Bobcats held on.
Bluffton (18-2-1) will travel to Bishop England on Tuesday for a rematch of last year’s Lower State final, which the Bobcats won 4-2 in overtime.
