An eight-run fourth inning did in Beaufort High in a season-ending 11-5 loss at Myrtle Beach in the Class 4A district tournament Monday.
The Eagles tied the game at 3 with three runs in the top of the fourth inning, but the Seahawks answered with an eight-run outburst in the bottom of the frame to take control.
Bricen Riley was 3-for-4 with a double, and RBI, and a run, and Carleigh Coolong went 2-for-3 with two doubles and three RBIs to lead the Eagles.
Emily Cook was tagged with the loss for Beaufort, which finishes with a 10-10 overall record.
