HS Soccer: Seahawk Boys Beat Beaufort To Keep Region Title Hopes Alive

Hilton Head High’s boys kept pace in the Region 8-4A title race with a 4-1 win over Beaufort High on Friday.

John Risley scored twice and Jackson Taber had three assists to lead the Seahawks. Diante Richard and Imanol Laborde added goals, and Fabian Ramirez had an assist for Hilton Head.

Andrew Rico made eight saves to preserve the win for the Seahawks.

The Seahawks (8-6, 8-2) can still earn a share of the region title with a Cane Bay loss at Berkeley on Tuesday. Hilton Head hosts May River for a non-region game at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The Eagles (4-12, 4-6) will be the No. 4 seed in the Class 4A playoffs and close the regular season at May River at 6;30 p.m. Monday.
