Bluffton beat visiting Battery Creek 11-1 in five innings Friday to sew up the No. 2 seed from Region 8-3A in the Class 3A playoffs.
Cody Eldridge went 4-for-4 with three RBIs, and Sean Sutay, Griffin Yeager, and Lukas Pulice each added two hits for the Bobcats.
Shane Farmer allowed one run and two hits over 3 1/3 innings with four strikeouts for the win. Sutay scattered three hits and struck out three in 1 2/3 innings of relief.
The Bobcats (16-6, 10-2) open the Class 3A playoffs at home Tuesday.
