The S.C. High School League lacrosse playoff brackets are set, and two boys teams and three girls teams from the area will begin their quest for a state title Tuesday.
Hilton Head High’s girls are the highest-seeded team from the Lowcountry as the No. 2 seed in the Lower State bracket. The Seahawks will host No. 7 seed May River in the first round Tuesday. Bluffton’s girls drew the No. 4 seed and will host No. 5 Oceanside Collegiate.
In the boys’ bracket, Hilton Head High is the No. 4 seed and will host No. 5 Oceanside Collegiate in the first round, while No. 7 seed May River will travel to No. 2 seed Academic Magnet.
The second round is scheduled for Thursday with the semifinals on April 24 and both the boys’ and girls’ championship games April 28 at Irmo High School.
