Hilton Head Christian Academy claimed a 4-1 home win over rival Hilton Head Prep on Tuesday.
Dargan Cherry went 3-for-3 with an RBI and scored twice, and J.D. Monts was 2-for-3 with an RBI double for the Eagles.
Reese Malon limited the Dolphins to one run and four hits over six innings with four strikeouts and three walks to earn the win. John Burke struck out two and walked one in the seventh to nail down the save.
Jaiden Hrobar was 3-for-4 and scored a run for the Dolphins.
The Eagles (11-1) host St. Andrew’s at 6 p.m. Thursday. The Dolphins (0-7) host Coastal Homeschool at 4 p.m. Friday.
