Despite playing without their top three singles players, Hilton Head High boys’ tennis claimed a 4-3 win over visiting Valley View (Ohio) on Wednesday.
Cooper Steinour and Alex Ruckno bumped up three spots in the lineup to claim wins at Nos. 1 and 2 singles and teamed up to earn the clinching victory at No. 1 doubles.
The Seahawks (8-1) host Berkeley for a region match at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
