Whale Branch baseball scored four runs in the sixth inning to rally for an 8-6 win at Phillip Simmons on Wednesday.
Irvin Mulligan’s RBI single tied the game at 5, and Clarence Stephens’ three-run double gave the Warriors the lead in the big inning.
Stephens also earned the win on the mound, striking out two and allowing six runs (all unearned) on eight hits in a complete game.
Jaren Cantorn was 4-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs for Whale Branch.
The Warriors play a region game against visiting Woodland at 6 p.m. Friday.
