HS Football: SCISA 11-Man Schedules Released

Fans of area private school football teams can start marking dates on their calendar for fall.

SCISA released its 11-man football schedules Wednesday, and the slate will include at least one head-to-head matchup between area teams – or “Lowco-on-Lowco,” as we like to call them – in six of the 11 weeks.

That includes a season-opening matchup between Thomas Heyward and Hilton Head Christian Academy on Aug. 17. That’s one of three battles with geographical rivals in the first four weeks of the season for the Rebels, who will face John Paul II in Week 2 and Hilton Head Prep in Week 4.

Hilton Head Christian’s schedule will feature plenty of late-season drama, as the Eagles face John Paul II and Hilton Head Prep in their last two regular-season matchups.
