Hilton Head High boys’ golf finished fifth among 24 teams at the Panther Invitational played Saturday at Hackler Golf Course in Conway.
The Seahawks posted a team score of 317, finishing 19 shots back of champion Blythewood. Waccamaw (310) was second, followed by Sumter (312) and North Myrtle Beach (315).
Hilton Head’s Charlie Farrell shot even-par 72 to finish in fourth place, one shot out of a three-way playoff for medalist honors, and earn a spot on the all-tournament team.
