Hilton Head High’s boys used a dominant second half to pull away for a 73-44 win over visiting Beaufort High on Tuesday.
Chris Washington scored 21 points, Lance Jackson added 17, and Trevor Wright had 16 to lead the Seahawks, who led by six at halftime before outscoring the Eagles 38-17 after the break.
Ethan Leana scored 16 points and Daijion Galloway added 12 for the Eagles.
Hilton Head High (8-9, 2-3) travels to region leader Berkeley on Friday in hopes of avenging a one-point loss to the Stags on Jan. 9. Beaufort (2-15, 0-5) hosts Stall on Friday.
