HSBB: Creek Girls Beat Bobcats To Open Region Play

Battery Creek’s girls opened Region 8-3A play with a 48-42 win at Bluffton on Tuesday.

Starr Reed scored 14 points to go with seven rebounds to lead the Dolphins, while Ta’Quasia Lampkin collected nine points, eight rebounds, four assists, seven blocks, and three steals. Kevea Sanders added eight points and five rebounds.

Allayah Bryan scored 12 points to lead Bluffton, and Kennedy Barber and Tatyana Aiken added nine apiece.

Both teams continue region play Friday, as Battery Creek (12-2, 1-0) travels to Ridgeland-Hardeeville and Bluffton (7-8, 0-1) plays at Wade Hampton.
