John Paul II’s girls pulled out a tough 42-36 win over visiting Hilton Head Prep in a region matchup Tuesday.
Tkai DeVore scored 14 points and hit several clutch free throws down the stretch, Abby Quinty had 11 points and five rebounds, and Katie Leigh Floyd added six points for the Golden Warriors.
JPII (11-3, 2-0) hosts Hilton Head Christian Academy for another key region matchup Friday. HHP (2-6, 0-1) hosts Oceanside Collegiate on Friday.
