HSBB: Undefeated Jaguars Roll To Bobcat Classic Crown

Ridgeland’s boys kept their undefeated season rolling with three wins to claim the title at the Bobcat Classic in Bluffton.

Rashamel Butler earned tournament MVP honors and Jabari Williams and Devin Butler were named to the all-tournament team after leading the Jaguars to wins over Piedmont, N.C. (71-65), Whale Branch (76-44), and South Point, N.C. (68-47).

Rashamel Butler averaged 15.7 points and 7.7 assists in the three games and posted a triple-double against South Point with 15 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. Devin Butler averaged 16.3 points, including a game-high 22 against Piedmont, and Williams averaged 15 points.

The host Bobcats went 2-1 in the tournament, dropping their first game to South Point (66-54) before rebounding to beat Piedmont (57-51) and Whale Branch (56-44).
