Bluffton held off Beaufort High for a 36-33 win in girls basketball action Tuesday, snapping the Eagles’ four-game winning streak.
The Bobcats led 23-9 at halftime before Beaufort outscored Bluffton 19-4 in the third quarter to take a one-point lead to the fourth quarter. Bluffton outscored the Eagles 9-5 in the final period.
Tatyana Aiken collected 17 points, eight rebounds, and five steals to lead the Bobcats, while Juddah Mitchell added 10 points.
Janiya Lynch, Brittany Linton, and Darien Watkins each scored eight points for the Eagles.
The Bobcats (2-1) host South Effingham on Thursday, while the Eagles (4-2) travel to Battery Creek on Friday.
