Jermaine Patterson poured in 41 points to help Bluffton close out a 71-65 win over visiting Hilton Head High on Friday.
The Seahawks cut an early 11-point deficit to four by halftime and led 49-47 entering the fourth quarter, but the Bobcats pulled ahead midway through the final period and closed it out by going 8-of-9 from the foul line in the fourth quarter.
Chris Washington scored 20 points, Trevor Wright added 15, and Lance Jackson contributed 12 for the Seahawks.
The Bobcats (2-0) travel to Eau Claire on Saturday, while the Seahawks (1-1) host Battery Creek on Tuesday.
