The Battery Creek girls basketball team claimed the Clash At The Creek tournament title on its home court Saturday.
The Dolphins defeated Colleton County 37-26 in the championship game behind 14 points from Ta’Quasia Lampkin and five apiece from Jayden Thompson and Coresha Rutledge.
In Friday’s first round, Battery Creek defeated Beaufort High 51-30. Lampkin scored 14 points, Kevea Sanders added 13, and Rutledge scored eight to lead the Dolphins.
The Dolphins (2-0) are back in action Dec. 2, hosting Savannah High.
