HSFB: Swinton Scores 3 Times As Bobcats Beat Battery Creek

John Swinton scored three touchdowns to lead Bluffton High School to a 39-12 win at Battery Creek on Friday for the Bobcats’ fourth straight win.

Swinton rushed for two touchdowns and took a short pass 90 yards for a score, and Hunter Eldridge threw three touchdown passes – two to Jermaine Patterson – for the Bobcats. Reggie Brown returned an interception for a score for Bluffton.

Trey Booth and Zacheus Magwood scored rushing touchdowns in the fourth quarter for the Dolphins.

Bluffton (5-2, 2-0) hosts Wade Hampton next week in a matchup of the only undefeated teams in Region 8-3A, while Battery Creek (2-5, 0-2) travels to Ridgeland-Hardeeville.
