The Beaufort High School volleyball team swept May River High School on Wednesday for the Eagles’ third straight win.
Hailey Lamar recorded seven kills and nine aces for the Eagles, while Madison Gallion collected 12 assists and four aces, and Caroline Malphrus had a team-high 22 digs.
Beaufort High puts its winning streak on the line in a critical Region 8-4A matchup with visiting Hilton Head Island High School at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. The Seahawks swept the Eagles in the first meeting, handing Beaufort High its only region loss thus far.
