Clemson star Bryson Nimmer was named an honorable mention All-American by the Golf Coaches Association of America on Thursday.
Nimmer, a Bluffton native and former Hilton Head Christian Academy standout, finished his sophomore season with a 71.33 stroke average and seven top-10 finishes for the Tigers. He finished second in a playoff at the ACC Tournament and was Clemson’s top player at the NCAA Regional.
Nimmer currently is competing at the Northeast Amateur in Rumford, Rhode Island, and will be in the field for the Players Amateur next month at Berkeley Hall.
