Players champ Smith joins Thomas, Berger in Heritage field

A trio of top-20 players in the world, headlined by reigning Players Championship winner Cameron Smith, added their names to the list of golfers who have committed to play in the 2022 RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing next month.

The Heritage Classic Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting educational and charitable initiatives to enhance the quality of life and economic vitality throughout South Carolina, announced Tuesday that Cameron Smith, Justin Thomas, and Daniel Berger will be competing in South Carolina’s only annual PGA Tour event from April 11-17 at the famed Harbour Town Golf Links on Hilton Head Island.

They join a field that includes defending champion Stewart Cink and Team RBC Ambassadors Dustin Johnson and Harold Varner III, as well as fellow Team RBC Ambassadors and past champions Matt Kuchar, Graeme McDowell, Webb Simpson, and Brandt Snedeker, and a number of other notable players such as Matt Fitzpatrick, Tommy Fleetwood and World No. 2 Collin Morikawa.
