Hilton Head Prep baseball made quick work of visiting Bridges Prep on Wednesday, closing out a 17-0 win in three innings.

The Dolphins pounced for 10 runs in the first inning and added seven in the second, ending it early on the mercy rule after Gunnar Bonomo and Christian Bueso combined on a two-hit shutout.

Bonomo struck out two and allowed two hits and a walk over two innings, and Bueso struck out two in a perfect third and had a big day at the plate, going 2-for-2 with three RBIs. Landon Schwartz and Payce Gartner each had two hits, two RBIs, and three runs, and Connor Campbell went 2-for-2 with a double, two RBIs, and two runs.
