HS GLAX: Sharks can’t keep pace with relentless Wildcats

May River girls lacrosse ran into a powerhouse squad on the road Tuesday, falling 17-6 at Richmond Hill.

The Wildcats’ attack was relentless, peppering 34 shots on goal, but the Sharks performed better in the second meeting than the first, which Richmond Hill won 18-1 on Feb. 15.

Molly Salus had two goals and two assists to lead the Sharks on offense, while Lola Spires added a pair of goals, and Corynn Psychoghios and Alana Moore each scored one goal.

May River (4-2, 1-0) travels to rival Bluffton for a Region 7-4A clash Thursday.
