Hilton Head Prep girls basketball ran their winning streak to seven games ahead of a rematch with powerhouse Hilton Head Christian Academy, beating Thomas Heyward 52-20 on the road Thursday.


The Dolphins came out of the gate strong, jumping out to a 27-3 lead after one quarter and extending it to 46-7 at halftime before backing off.
Courtney Campbell led the way for HHP with 13 points and four steals, while Katie Campbell added nine points and five assists, and Avery Brothers scored nine points.
“We’re going to enjoy the ‘W’ tonight,” HHP coach Phillip Harman said. “First thing tomorrow morning, we start prepping for a very good HHCA team.”
HHP (13-5, 4-2) hosts HHCA on Friday, while THA (1-14, 1-7) travels to Holy Trinity on Tuesday.
