Ridgeland-Hardeeville boys basketball couldn’t get its offense going in the first half and was unable to dig out of the hole in a 61-42 loss at Timberland on Tuesday.
The Jaguars kept it close with strong defense early on, but the Wolves got going in the second quarter and surged to a 31-13 halftime lead. The Jags were down 26 after three but closed the gap somewhat in the fourth.
Dylan Pryor and Amarion Riley scored 11 points each to lead the Jags, while Quinton Brown added seven, and Kalen Riddles had six.
Lyric Evans scored 21 points, and Darius Greene added 14 to lead Timberland.
RHHS (1-9, 0-3) hosts Class 2A No. 4 Phillip Simmons on Wednesday.
