Thomas Heyward’s boys were down two key starters on Friday night, but the Rebels found a way to stay unbeaten with a 69-60 home win over Patrick Henry Academy.

With both Brandon Howard and Jordan Mikell out of the lineup due to their participation in the SCISA North-South Football All-Star Game, eighth-grader Tony O’Banner put on a show for the Rebels, pouring in 20 points alongside 15 rebounds and five steals.
Tyshon Mansell scored 13 points with an impressive eight assists, Wyatt Pope was a rebound shy of a double-double with 10 points and nine boards, and Preston Hamilton added eight points with 11 rebounds. Anthony Fripp and Zane Wilson tacked on seven points apiece in an impressive team effort.
