A 10-yard TD run on fourth-and-1 gave the Bobcats an early 7-6 lead, but the Yellowjackets answered with a long drive capped by Curry’s 20-yard TD run to regain the advantage.
Harrell then hit Kaden Usry for a touchdown, but the Bobcats answered with a trick play, as Roderick Buxton took a pitch and looked downfield for Jaylin Linder, who hauled it in for a 65-yard touchdown to pull Bluffton with 21-12 just before halftime.
A special teams letdown thwarted the momentum, though, as North Augusta’s Taylon Washington returned the ensuing kick 67 yards to set up Drew Stevens for a 35-yard field goal and a 24-12 halftime lead.
Harrell added his second touchdown run of the night in the final minute of the third quarter, and the Bobcats couldn’t muster enough offense to mount a comeback.
Bluffton finishes its season with a 2-8 mark, while North Augusta (6-5) advance to host Beaufort High in the second round.
