Another perfect regular season is in the books for Hilton Head Christian Academy.
Joseph “Speedy” Robinson blitzed down the field for three touchdowns, and the defense forced three turnovers Friday in a 42-0 shutout victory at rival Hilton Head Prep.
“We pulled through big time,“ senior Jackson Lanier said. “We were running our lightning package, just trying to out-tempo the other team. Hilton Head Prep put up a great fight, but we were able to keep our poise throughout the entire game.”

After the Eagle defense started the afternoon with a sack, Jace Blackshear went to work, completing four passes on his opening drive including a 15-yarder in the flat to Lanier, who weaved his way to the end zone. Then the Eagles unleashed Robinson, who reversed upfield for a 14-yard touchdown run before turning on the jets for a highlight-reel 56-yard score to put his team up 21-0.
The Junkyard Dogs kept feasting on the defensive end, punching the ball out of Loncelle Daley’s grasp to set up a short field. It was all Robinson once again, picking up 15 yards on fourth down and running it in from three yards out for his third score of the afternoon. Senior Wills Dolbeare powered into the end zone for a 1-yard run in the second half, and another Daley fumble set up a Lanier direct snap to the outside for a 5-yard score.
Robinson had a stellar day on the ground, recording 124 yards and three touchdowns alongside five catches for 39 yards. Blackshear was excellent through the air, completing 18 of 24 passes for 236 yards and a touchdown while adding 41 rushing yards. Lanier reeled in six catches for 108 yards and a score while leading a phenomenal defensive effort. The Junkyard Dogs forced two fumbles, and Peter Nodelman added an interception.
Loncelle Daley led Hilton Head Prep’s offense, rushing for 66 yards on 17 carries.
Hilton Head Christian (9-0, 5-0) opens the SCISA 2A postseason against Carolina Academy at home Friday in a rematch of last year’s state championship game, while Hilton Head Prep (6-4, 2-3) travels to top-seeded Williamsburg Academy.
