Hilton Head High and May River both stormed into the second round of the SCHSL Class 4A girls tennis playoffs with 6-0 wins Thursday.
The No. 2 seed Seahawks swept Midland Valley at home, dropping just two games in six matches, to advance to a second-round matchup at Myrtle Beach on Tuesday.
The No. 4 seed Sharks pulled off an upset on the road, sweeping No. 2 seed North Augusta. May River will travel to top-seeded South Florence on Tuesday.
